  I ate here tonight with a group of friends. We were greeted by a host who immediately showed apprehension towards seating us. She explained to me that if we did not order enough food, our server would have too high a tip out at the bar and wouldn't make any money off our table. This was insulting and in hindsight a red flag that I should have turned around and taken my business elsewhere. The presumable manager backed the host up. This was insulting. I was there to have a good time and spend money and yet I was greeted by being told I need to worry about my server's bar tip out, which was apparently a remarkably high percentage that I had nothing to do with. Instead, I was set on having a beer with my friends and we bartered our way to a table. There were seven of us, and six water glasses on the table. Six silverware rolls as well. We had to ask eventually for more rolls and glasses and plates for our appetizers. We had three more join us later, everyone ordered entrees and multiple rounds of drinks. I estimate we spent at least $300 there. I tipped our poor server over. I felt the whole time that we were being manipulated by everyone there, the host, manager and server to buy more food so that they could apparently pay their staff correctly. This should all be completely invisible to a guest in my opinion. I will never go back and I will share my experience with everyone I meet. I love beer and I love going out to eat and this was a completely insulting and degrading experience. I feel robbed of a few hours and $60. I also do not recommend the scotch eggs. Way overcooked, greasy and served with marinara sauce? I would have had a better time at an Olive Garden.
  
  I work at a high end restaurant and there were many moments throughout the meal where it was clear these people do not know what they were doing. There was absolutely no attitude towards hosting guests warmly or even attempting to accommodate our reasonably normal sized party. The restaurant was empty yet we could not be promptly seated. When the rest of our guests joined us, waters were not brought for them. We were never even thanked when we left! The most glaringly bizarre thing to me was that the staff talked to us about how they paid their servers, and the tip outs right when we walked in, instead of being greeted. That is never ever any business of the guest and if it isn't sustainable for a server to work at a brewery, that is something which needs to be resolved on a management level. I doubt we were the first party of people seeking drinks at their establishment.
  
  The dining floor was very quiet for a Friday night at 8 pm. My experience makes it very clear why that was. It is also clear that there are some ducks out of row at this restaurant. I think some serious things should change before this place makes a profit.
